are you not an appreciator of nature?

do you not bring cool sticks home? leaves to press? have you ever made a dandelion flower crown? find a feather while hiking?

i went to visit a friend once in the catskills

as i was leaving she said: oh! i have something for you

she had found the skin a snake had shed & thought i wanted it

i did

im sure thats floating around my house somewhere too

if this is Miller's The Crucible

what character would you be if you could choose your own casting?

Indeed I appreciate nature and collect keepsakes from travels. In the moment, the phrasing of finding a skull while doing chores sounded a bit absurd (discovering an unknown skull would usually be alarming), and my comment was just meant to reflect the comedy of that absurdity.

I hadn’t considered the notion that you were genuine in curiosity, and that my note could be interpreted as mockery.

If you do find out the species, I would love to learn of it as well!

ah i understand. all good.

im always genuine in my curiosity i would never waste time asking what i already know
