Miners are Energy Converters. They convert any type of energy exerted into electricity and store it in blocks.
The People are the ones who are doing the Proof of Work.
Every single one of us do work every day, we give it to the Miners, the Miners put the energy we produced into their energy converters, electrify it, and then put it in blocks.
The interesting part is that we can even give miners all energy we stored in less efficient energy refrigerators and ask them to put it in the new 100% efficient refrigerator Satoshi Nakamoto gave us.
