Great maps and article! In 2017 I had the chance to travel along these paths, from Hong Kong to Europe by train. Sadly the Pan Eurasian land route will be inaccessible now for quite a whole

It took me two weeks in total for 13,000km, but I allowed myself generous stays in the cities where I changed trains. The longest train was 72h, from Bishkek to Moscow
