Yalda, also known as the Night of Yalda or Shab-e Chelleh (in Persian), is the longest night of the year and is celebrated on the first night of winter. This night symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and the beginning of longer days. Families gather on this night, eat fruits and nuts, and read poetry from Hafez.

Yalda is the most special night of the year for me, and the most important event of my life happened on this very night. Eleven years ago, dear Reza Shahin handed me the song "Two Creatures", and I tried my best to create and sing it in the best way I could at that time. Fortunately, many people loved the result. When we went for the permit for this song to be published, "they" had some strange objections to a few parts of it, and ultimately we published and performed it without any changes. I am very, very grateful to dear Reza for this amazing song.

Wishing you a joyful, joyful, joyful Yalda in advance!
