Has anything specific happened?
I never check Spanish (or Catalan, for that matter) news anymore. I didn't even notice we had regional elections a while ago until I saw the banners, and I can't even tell you the names of any minister or regional president, or even the party that rules each region anymore. The only Spanish "news" I get is whatever Juan Ramon Rallo publishes on his YT channel.
