It's funny because nostr:npub1lelkh3hhxw9hdwlcpk6q9t0xt9f7yze0y0nxazvzqjmre3p98x3sthkvyz gets paid no matter if people watch on YouTube or a client like Invidious (https://vid.puffyan.us/watch?v=aA-jiiepOrE) whereas on Twitter people have to be on and engaged with that platform. Nostr is changing everything.
They are afraid… and they see ideas on how they can convince people to stay. Until they can’t anymore.

When relays find a way to monetize unencrypted posts, they could definitely pay out content creators though

They are clever, they’re not paying everyone, just the top tier and want people to fomo into it and shitpost/engage harder
