“Intrinsic value” is a myth.

All value is subjective

It's so obvious too... I really don't understand how so many people contend otherwise. I am constantly battling normies on this basic point.

When fiat maxis goes on rants about how “Bitcoin has no intrinsic value” you know they’ve lost the plot

What’s the intrinsic value of some fancy printed paper sheets with funny faces on it, displaying random numbers?!?

That the government forces it upon us.

Especially when fiat has less of this mystical intrinsic value than Bitcoin does.

exactly - intrinsic value of dollar gold btc = 0

" beauty is eyes of beholder "

acceptance is 🔑

value comes from " to whom u give" - NOT what u or u accountant value

if u 1btc to some who has never used internet value of BTC=0 to him/her

It was an attempt to distinguish between how people actually value something and how you think it should be valued, now or in the future, based on the information you're taking into account in your own evaluation.

People like Schiff extend this to mean "ability to be used for something else" which is obviously bs. If something has a monetary premium who cares that it has a value of 1% of that for some other use.

Stupid word that we don't need, imo.

Bingo!

Yup! How much is worth to you!

'Intrinsic' value only applies to a soul or a relationship with another person.

All items are only worth what someone will pay for them or their use value.
