This is a problem that I anticipated. I'm going old school. I'm self hosting Tiny Tiny RSS. I follow No BS Bitcoin and CNBC to get main steam current events.

You lose out on some of the analysis you would get on Twitter but I've been able to live with it.

CNBC? haha

Hehe

Since Nitter doesn't have follow feature and RSS feeds are a pain, and doesn't give me the same timeline experience, I've resorted to create a lurker account on twitter, unrelated to this nym. Sorry but not sorry. I won't post anything though, and it's specifically made for news information gathering from some high signal accounts.

I'm not following any bitcoiners there, as I consider that I am getting better bitcoin signal here, filtered by nostriches, and not the bullshit and fear spread by influencers. No stupid price predictions or other bitcoin fud. Ignorance is bliss.

The moment someone creates a nitter fork where you can follow accounts locally (and works at scale. ie. works by following hundreds of people) I will consider shutting the lurker account down.

Somewhat neutral-ish and business related. I can't think of a better corporate media outlet to follow for trying to keep up with business headlines. I would consider alternatives if anyone has suggestions.

By the way, just because I want to see the corporate media headlines, that doesn't mean I believe all of them!

One awesome feature with RSS. I can follow GitHub projects and see when there is a new release. Now I'm aware when Amethyst has a new tagged release 3 times a day!
