Me too. This is what the developer of Apollo had to say.

TL;DR the API is going paid so Apollo will probably have to become subscription only going forward.

Before #nostr I probably would have. But now I think I would rather spend that money on #Damus

I feel bad for Christian because #Apollo is fantastic but since joining Nostr I’ve barely been on #Reddit
