I have been trying to fully get out of google ecosystem for more than a year. Not there yet. Still a shared google calendar, and stuff that keeps me hanging on to the account. Same thing with facebook, friend groups and engagements that persists to use the platform ☹️
Group chats with friends on Facebook is definitely an issue. Hard to get them to migrate to something else when they don’t see a need for it
