The younger crowd doesn't get it. Now it's all about influencers, clout, and number of likes. I was on the internet when it first started. The only ones on the internet were the weird nerdy folks who suddenly discovered their tribe online. We quickly discovered that a/s/l didn't matter, it was personalities, shared interests, and caring that created friends and family. Even with people you would never meet in real life.
