writing with a good ball point pen is so much more satisfying than using a pencil

Any recommendations?

My pen says Pilot G-2 07 but there is no way its as premium as the name sounds

This is the best pen for the price IMO. I have required them for years, ever since it became the most frequent tool I use in my career. It will last longer than the writing on the pen! Here is my current one at work.

G2 refills are awesome. Get yourself a nice pen and just keep buying refills.

I'm a fan of tactile turn pens.

got any links?

I'm a big fan of their bolt actions. https://tactileturn.com/collections/bolt-action-pens

I've had mine for years now and as long as I don't lose it I think I'll have the same pen forever.

damn it's been so long since i used these things, i seem to recall BIC brand was pretty smooth

overall i think the thing to look out for is the ones with the wider diameter, they are smoother

put it this way, the standard default BIC was great for me when i was in prison, trying to conserve ink, because it had such a fine point (not sure, 0.5 or 0.3 mm or so) but it was scratchy, the clasp around the ball is smaller and less precise on smaller balls

Uniball Jetstream

The. Best. One. I. Have. Ever. Tried.

Worth it the extra few $

i love sketching with a pencil though

sketching is fun, but I cant do it. so I just write :)

Try a fountain pen.
