If the nitrogen carbon ratio is about right and its being oxigenized (turned) and there is at least a cubic meter of material then its either too much or to little water.

Ive been trying to get the moisture right for a few days now.

Squeeze a small handful. No more than a few drops of water is just right.

It may be frozen...

When its too wet then the hottest temperature is somewhere in a ring around the middle. Otherwise the middle of the pile has the highest temperature. Not sure how practical it is to measure that.

It's heating up slowly. If it isn't hot by Sunday in going build it bigger
