Me, happily blasting away at rust with the wire wheel: “Hmm. 1964… wonder if this is leaded paint…”

Turns out it almost certainly is. Fortunately, that thought came to me after clearing a small patch.

Even wearing damn good PPE, a dry wire wheel just kicks up too much crap to tolerate.

Time to go with a much more tedious wet sanding approach. 🫡
