Happy orange pilling stories of family members are popping up everywhere on Nostr, I'm hoping to do the same with my parents. They have no pension and very little saved up but they've purchased plots of land in the Riviera Maya, hoping to build airbnb type houses and live off of that for retirement. If they would've put all that money into BTC instead, I don't think they'd be worrying about having to become landlords.

Anyhow, it seems I'm slowly getting to them. Proving carnivore is not a fad diet, and the way humans should be eating, definitely helped give me credibility when I mention "crazy" things. 1. Explain to them what money actually is. Most people don’t truly understand it.

2. Explain how the Fiat system is stealing their economic energy.

3. Show them how Bitcoin fix most problems we have today.

4. Lead by example and they will follow.

Going into details about the science behind Bitcoin can overwhelm many people.

Show them the problem first, then give them the solution. If they get interested, go into more details of how Bitcoin works. 🫡

Yeah, I'm planning on sitting down with them again and having the talk. I gave my dad some sats less than a year ago and seeing it rocket ship in value should grab his attention. Thanks!
