I am not ashamed of the color of my skin.

I am not ashamed of my biology.

I am not ashamed of my sexual preference.

I am not ashamed of my ambition.

I am not ashamed of my intelligence and skills.

I am not ashamed of my accomplishments.

I am not ashamed of my pay rate.

I am not ashamed of my education or lack thereof.

I am not ashamed of my advantages or disadvantages.

I am not ashamed of the sacrifices my forebearers made to place me where I am today.

I am not ashamed of the content of my character.

I am not ashamed of my belief in God.

I am not ashamed of the founding principles of my nation.

I am not ashamed of the rights our nation was formed to protect.

I am not ashamed of the soldiers who have fought and died to protect our nation.

I am not ashamed of what God has wrought in my life.

I will not be ashamed of myself, my life, my history, my identity.

I am not ashamed of myself for being me.
