Politicians and weapons manufacturers are the only winners in war.

bankers do ok for themselves

True. The money does have to go somewhere.

Corporate execs, as well. Although, I guess they're the real politicians at this point.

Most would probably get harmed by the transition to a war economy when most industries don't directly profit off war.

Definitely. They lose access to some of their largest supply lines.

Also, a good handful of countries that would rather trade with.

And if the state decides to transition into a war (planned) economy: control over the business. That's quite a loss.

Hence why TSM is so important.

TSM? Im unfamiliar with the acronym.

A BIG semiconductor supplier for thr U.S.!

Oh! Yea, they are REALLY important. Its why China wants to invade and the US threatened to bomb them of they lose access.

Yep! It's also why the U.S. Navy has made it a priority to defend Taiwan. It's a very real possibility that China might invade them.

Personally, this is why I believe that the U.S. has made such a large investment in the Ukraine-Russia and Israel-Palestine conflicts. If they print more money without a legit source of income that will just increase inflation. The U.S. is already enduring enough issues without those two conflicts.

I dont see how war will really solve the issue of inflation.

It won't. You can't fix the inflation issue. It's too late. But, at least with the wars going on, they can slow it down. In other words, they won't have to keep increasing the tax rates. They already created enough issues by trimming the annual budget and increasing taxes. In the grand scheme, it's just a way of manipulating the inflation rate. 🤷‍♂️

Simple to cure
