That's called petrodollar privilege, napalmin em, atomic bombin em, regime changing em, etc.
But I get your point intellectually still nice outside of that just saying only reason why in the first place. Give another nation same petrodollar means by force and see what they could do
Petrodollar is dead now as well. The next couple decades gonna be very very interesting.
