⚡️🚨🇫🇷 France on the brink? Debt could reach 130% of GDP!

The Cour des Comptes is sounding the alarm: the deficit will explode to €175 billion (6% of GDP) in 2024.

Public spending is "out of control", due in particular to:

❌ Local authorities: +18 billion €

❌ Social security: +€38 billion

⚠️ France is the ONLY major European country with no prospect of returning below the 3% deficit.

On the contrary, according to projections, debt could reach 130% of GDP by 2031.

What's most worrying?

The government is banking on "optimistic" growth of 0.9% in 2025, while experts are counting on 0.7%.
