Anarchonomicon's essay on the internal dynamics of "Wokeness" and the "professional-managerial" class basically follows "Revolt of the Elites", but is far more readable and succinct.
Its also notable the way it draws parallels between past and present.
I had a real chill of "Cosmic Horror" reading the appendix and realising that, however wrong he was overall, the "most wicked man in history" understood many particulars of class and identity politics with rather greater keenness than myself; keener than all but the very best of our contemporary political observers.
