Japanese has the word jiji that we could borrow. Or we could just make up our own definition.
jiji: n the ability to connect the dots.
E.g. "His ability to surmise a surprise party from a bit of glitter and a six-pack demonstrated some serious jiji."
It's a good word, so I'll allow it. Usefulness cemented in my mind by the relatable example you provided
