When you're in the air by yourself there is no other concern in the world. The level of focus is unlike anything I've ever experienced.
Where are you at now? Last I checked you were at the solo cross country phase.

It's been slow going this year but I'm in final prep for my check ride. Hopefully I'll have that scheduled to happen a bit after Miami btc conference.
It's taking me longer than most, but I'm getting there.
I didn't take my checkride until 175 hours. So I know the feeling.
