Speaking of Haruhi, since I never read the LNs, what's the story's endgame? Last I saw of the anime, the SOS Brigade were keeping Haruhi from knowing all the weird shit she's been indirectly causing, but then what? Is there real conflict between the three factions (espers, time travelers, aliens) in trying to "control" Haruhi?
