El Salvador airport...

Wide open, big spaces, enough immigration people ready to stamp me right through - 190 days - boom, no questions asked.

Okay - airport wifi not working...

Customs have a look at your passport stamp and on you go, no unnecessary luggage scans, though personell and scans were operational and probably upon the passport checkers signal ready to scan. It looks they are trained well to get the bad apples.

Everybody seems ready to be helpful with the slightest question I have...

No pushy haggling taxi drivers inside and they leave you alone after a simple 'no thanks'.

It is truly a fresh breeze after the madness in Costa Rica and Cancun airports... it shows that it doesn't have to be rocket science to be efficient.
