They accept bitcoin. Tons of restaurants accept bitcoin there. Also, almost everyone at the farmers market accepts bitcoin and the farmers market is twice a week.

I highly recommend going to spend some time in Uvita in Costa Rica, Bitcoin Beach and Berlin in El Salvador, and Bitcoin Lake in Guatemala. I’d say primary use case is p2p payments in those places. It’s friggen awesome.
