You can't ban any religion without limiting freedom of expression, which is a fundamental human right.

Propagating political doctrines cannot be made illegal for the same reason.

Freedom of speech includes the right to say things that are misogynistic, that support pedophilia, that are idiotic, that justify crimes (as long as they don't call for crimes, which certainly not all Muslims do), which are satanic (Satanism itself isn't illegal), backward (otherwise all conservatives and regressives would be out of politics) and stupid.
Terrorism and violence can be banned and Western democracies are not, generally, totalitarian or oppressive. But moderate Muslims are neither violent or terrorists nor willing or capable of changing our political system.
