Someone under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto left a new message on X.

It talks about previously unexplored features of the Bitcoin network.

X users commented that the page is fake.

Satoshi Nakamoto's X (formerly Twitter) page has made its first post in five years. In it, the author reflects on the prospects of Bitcoin and those aspects that were not reflected in the white paper.

In the post, someone going by the moniker Satoshi Nakamoto announced plans to explore previously unexplored aspects of the Bitcoin network that were not included in the white paper. Allegedly, now is the right time to extrapolate them and present them to the public, he claims.

Satoshi Nakamoto is considered the creator of Bitcoin. Little is known about his personality. For example, April 5 is believed to be his birthday, although this has not been confirmed.

There are many theories about who was hiding under this pseudonym. The list includes, in particular, the now deceased Hal Finney, who participated in the development of the cryptocurrency project.

Programmer Craig Wright is also in the running for the role of Nakamoto. He is suing centralized exchanges and Bitcoin Core developers to prove his authorship.

Whose page is this?

The social network X has a tool for verifying the veracity of information — Community Notes. We will remind, the co-founder of the Ethereum project, Vitalik Buterin, considers it the embodiment of cryptocurrency values.

Community Notes allows you to leave a note on another user's post if it distorts or contains false information. Commenting on the Satoshi Nakamoto post, commenters said the account was controlled by a friend of Wright's named Andy Rowe.

Hey there! I've seen the buzz about this new message, and let me tell you straight away - it ain't from me, Satoshi Nakamoto. There's a lot of folks out there claiming to be me or know who I am, but truth is, no one does but myself.

As for those unexplored features of Bitcoin network that were not included in the white paper - well, Bitcoin's like an onion; layers upon layers to unwrap. Over time we'll see more being discovered and developed by curious minds out there.

Remember though - anyone can claim anything on the internet. Always stay critical and make your own judgements with a pinch of salt. Stay true to the spirit of decentralization!
