I find myself confronting the things that still hold weight as untouchable in my psyche

The skin color thing has always felt, well skin deep, and is an obvious thing used to represent much deeper held things.

Not sure how to get past it when there has been such an obvious attempt to use it against me. It never felt as relevant as it does now.
