Not going to lie, but I really struggle with the ambiguity of these kinds of “wisdom statements.” Not only for the vagueness of words like “rest” and “will” and “truth,” but also because a case can be made for the opposite. There is an interesting little book by Derek Sivers called Useful Not True that explores the usefulness of things that are NOT true. I understand the sentiment behind the attempt being made to encourage people to “seek truth,” but the reality is that it’s not the only way to get through life and it is not always the most useful thing to do.
