In terms of the whole image of God, the expression of humanity, there is both similarity and complementarity, such that with each other we are enough, the complete image of God - sufficient for one another's needs and the tasks required of each of us.
In Genesis 2 God saw that it was not good for man to be alone (man, whom he tasked go have dominion over creation as a sub-regent). To address this, he made woman out of man. He now judged this: very good.
Adam was made from earth, with a main creational purpose to work. Eve was made from man, with a main creational purpose of relationships.
What a strange faith - that alienates man from Nature
How so? Our creation mandate irreparably connects humanity to working the earth and our physical bodies. It's a popular and unhelpful myth that Christianity does not concern natural things.

Work and and birth were before the curse, but because of sin are not as fruitful as they were, and will be redemption and restoration of the earth - the reunion of heaven and earth, and man and God. We are not manicheans or gnostics. Greeks in ancient times had a really hard time with Christianity because of how earthly and fleshly it is. The logos? Become flesh? Scandalous
Eventual reunion implies present disunion which is precisely my criticism
