also fairly useless. anyone can easily c1rcumv3nt them, while they unintentionally block much "normal" debate. A few years ago already, there were complaints that a finance firm would block emails about German corporation FAG Kugelfischer (AG being just the German short for a stock market-listed company). Besides being puritan and paternalistic (bad enough), it's also enragingly anglocentric, as if English were the only language in existence...
