I think it’s just because I didn’t have auto translate on, but when I toggle it off it breaks the way. I described. Oh well will just leave that on… I always assumed that it off didn’t work on wouldnt 😅

your service is the best I’ve got it to work so far… deepl wouldn’t verify my api key because of automatic address formatting not matching my billing formatting.

but comparing some of the translations between highlight to translate on iOS, it’s not quite as actuate.

I just tried it out on my most recent test build of sideus, although translation has always been kinda janky… it just doesn’t work at all in my sideload builds. I wonder if the term damus is in the makeURL generated and requested from libre?

Shouldn’t be. You can go to the URL I listed in a web browser, try the translator, and it also shows you the API call used.

This is definitely true. But it’s the breast FOSS I can run and promise friends no logging, etc.
