It’s easier to go with the follower number, it’s even very physiologically appealing. But that won’t tell you how much your post have touched or given the value people were looking for, not even the PV’s. Comments, and now the ZAPS is what drives the signal.

PV’s are just that “like” button anybody can press without thinking it through. On the other hand, zaps and comments show how much a person is willing to sacrifice their limited and precious time to engage with your opinion. That is why engagement is the PROOF OF WORK.
