🤔 Seems there may be a shift in hobbies on the horizon. Is there a "write code" for dummies ... as in, I'd like to learn code to write for nostr.

I would recommend learning to code rather than vibe code.

If you're looking to make a client, I'd recommend learning React/JavaScript. Look up Vite and npm, and that'll help you set yourself up to write a frontend.

The JavaScript Nostr library by fiatjaf is nostr-tools.

PPQ.ai is a great frontend to a lot of AI models. Claud 3.7 is good for asking all your dumb coding questions to as you're learning. You can ask it for detailed instructions on how to set up your first project too, then do all the steps yourself. Learn the basics of git to maintain your code history.

Thanks for the info. I have a blank PC that I can dedicate to the cause. At the moment, I have more ideas than I do time but I'll make it a point to develop something by end of year. Java script intimidates me because I never took the time to learn it past html. I'm sure there's a logic behind it though. I think it's can figure it out.

JavaScript is the most straightforward way to make browser apps, and React/Vite is in my opinion, the easiest framework to work with. But there are a lot of options out there depending on what you want to do.
