For the past 5yrs I've been quietly building CoinFundIt.com a Crowdfunding and Donations platform for #Bitcoin and Altcoin crypto that is decentralized, open-source, non-custodial, non-KYC, operates on relays, and has an atomic swap exchange (DEX).

While I'm personally invested in the mission of Bitcoin-only, I realize my personal beliefs shouldn't interfere with the ability for adoption, which is why it supports more than just on-chain BTC. Not everyone on #Nostr will agree with altcoin support, but that's ok since the platform is open and can be forked to build the front-end as others see fit, and it would still be able to connect to the network.

The platform is finally production ready and could be used to start taking donations or crowdfund a project, today. There's still a lot of features planned on the roadmap (including lightning support), but it is overall mostly functional as a PWA. Apps are on the way.

It's my hope that the platform can be utilized for those who want a censorship-resistant method of raising funds. As we've seen in the past, select marginalized groups have traditionally been targeted and the centralized services they used were compelled to shut down their campaigns.
