One sheep dog can control a thousand sheep because the majority of the sheep are asleep. One or two sheep can try and jump out of line, but they simply become easy targets of persuasion and afirmaton for the herd. Isolated violence is defeating, but when the majority of the sheep have been awakened they can then make a peaceful move in unison, that cannot be stopped by any means. If the majority of sheep never awaken, then they were never destin to be free. In defeat it is then that the warriors must rise up and escape in freedom as outcast survivors, to breed a new more worthy herd.
