I need some help.

An ex colleague of mine (and an experienced software engineer) has developed a rare health issue. Because of which, he has partially lost his eye sight (both eyes) . All medical investigation has indicated that the problem is irreversible. Though he has some eye sight to do his regular activities, he can't read from computer screens or smart phone. This is a very tough situation for any one to be in.

To get back to life, he re-learnt how to use computers with the help of a special keyboard and monitor. With this he has been, able write computer programs and debug as before.

So he is looking for openings in organizations , who are willing to hire him as a software developer or something related to IT.

He is not expecting any senior position nor is he demanding a high salary. Instead he is looking for some challenging work, which he can take up and deliver within his abilities.

He has worked with me, I know him very well. He can write quality code and deliver on time. He has very good debugging skills. Except eye sight, all other functions are normal. He is mentally a very strong person, fighting and surviving the current situation.
