Police distract from hunger strike with 'infitada' arrest
from
The Crispin Flintoff Show
Outside the Ministry of Justice, supporters rallied for the Prisoners for Palestine hunger strikers.
Many have been held for more than a year without trial — and the crowd demanded justice, due process and an end to indefinite detention.
Unbelievably, police arrested a mother and daughter, allegedly over the word 'infitada' and made headlines for doubling down on free speech as well as the hunger strike.
Speeches come from Jeremy Corbyn MP, Adnan Hussain MP, Richard Burgon MP, Faris Amer (Palestinian Forum in Britain), Andy McDonald MP, Chris Nineham (Stop the War Coalition) and Shamiul Joarder (Friends of Al-Aqsa).
