Only when I am cared about I have the capacity to take care for others.

Same for the others: They only can take care of others, when the have been taken care of.

I like to put it like this.

There are circles of care.

The first circle of care is about myself.

The second circle is my wife and my son and even my dogs.

Third is the bigger family: Cousins, Uncles, aunts, Grandparents, Parents

Fourth are friends and colleagues

Fifth ist neighbours and other people i am in contact with a lot.

Sixth circle is the rest of the world.

I think the state takes too much social energy from us to be able to take care for more then the first and second circle and even that is hard for many people.

But even though the state takes social energy from us and gives it to illegal people, heroinjunkies, lazy people and the political parasites we people still tend to take care about other people.

Amazing right?
