I realized that something was very wrong with my boomer extended family member when she raved about how “amazing” the movie “The Shack” was and repeatedly told everyone she knew that ”it’s a must-see.“

For reference, “The Shack” is a movie about a man whose young daughter was kidnapped, raped and murdered. He goes on a “spiritual journey” and is pressured by brown-Jesus to go camping at the scene of the crime (so that he can re-live what happened to her.) When he gets there, he is bullied by brown-Jesus into wholeheartedly forgiving his daughter’s rapist/murderer. As opposed to hunting down the perpetrator, sedating him and conducting a slow vivisection with rusty tools inside of a plastic kiddy pool filled with acid while live-streaming the process of his mangled body getting slowly dissolved.

In short, the “message” of this film is that good men should cuckold evil men or else brown-Jesus won’t like you. And psychopathic, mentally diseased boomer women (with the spiritual/emotional depth of a mud puddle) LOVVVVVVEEEE it. It’s the “BESSSSTTT EEEVVAAAAARRR.” Lmao
