Helped my bro in law process a 3 1/2 year old large black boar today. The man in the picture is 6ft tall. A shot from a 9mm did NOT penetrate its skull. We had to get the 5.56 out to get him to go down. What to you guess the weight is?

My guess would be about 825 live weight. Very nice work on the hoist frame! 👍

I’ll get a hang weight tomorrow and calculate backwards to estimate the live weight. The skin alone was over 100.
My guess was a little enthusiastic based on my reading of Walter Jeffries experience with big older pigs tipping scales over 1k pounds.
