Being p2p-first can give the OP control over who replies to them.
Websockets first design seems to be a mistake and I think we should talk about making notes protocol agnostic.
This will increase a lot the work to be done by clients as they will have to ask many peers for notes and build a timeline after that but it’s the price to sovereign being.

I like the way Google gmail do to filter spam. Sad part is I can’t have a mail server because Google think it’s spam.
so google has centralized email
