Well you are more literate than I am. English and working on reading French for about the same amount of time. Does Portuguese help you with French grammar? That's what I mostly struggle with.

No, no. Portuguese did not help me with French grammar. What helps me (and I still struggling a lot with it) are the Latin lessons I took some years ago.

Interesting. I would have thought it being a romance language it would be close to French.
