I think once only fans content creators come to nostr, they will slowly taper off. I don’t think they’ll need to do it as they start using bitcoin more. Whoever is left will probably do it because they like it and not because it’s their best option.
You mean they’ll stop using OF? It has an advantage nostr doesn’t have yet: its user base. If they want their content in front of the most eyeballs and the most money, they have to use both I think
No I mean in the long run, like maybe 50 years from now. Less people will be doing it because we will be on a Bitcoin standard. More wealthy people will be around that can afford to start families. So there won’t be a need for things like only fans. A lot of women are having a hard time finding suitable men to have families with because everyone is poor.
I’m not sure if Bitcoin solves the need for porn. Whether it’s on OF or something else. That’s more of a human nature thing. Not sure Bitcoin fixes human vices/human nature.
Reduce it I think. Right now it’s something like 10% of women between 18-25 are doing only fans. I don’t think that rate will stay that high.

I think the demand for porn will naturally go down as men find more fulfilling relationships. But there will always be demand. It’s just going to be weird when AI starts making porn. I can see porn consumption eventually become a very niche hobby like horseback riding 😂
I totally disagree with this. It won’t become niche like horseback riding. It will go down slightly but not much. 71-80% of men in romantic relationships consume it. And 46% of men use it weekly. Men in relationships use it less than men that are not (1.7 times per week for 20mins per session vs 3 times per week for 40mins.

In my head, I hear Jeff Booth talk about the price of goods and services falling to the marginal cost of production. At some point you won’t be able to tell the difference between real and AI porn. But the cost to produce real and AI porn will be very different. There’s no camera, makeup, lingerie, film editing with AI porn. So real porn will necessarily cost more than AI porn to produce. Porn stars will be priced out of the market and only the ones willing to pay for select porn stars are going to be relevant. Which is why I think it’ll be a niche thing.
