Horribly irresponsible. Especially that the younger campers ( who’d have less swimming strength) were on lower ground. Flood zones are not a mystery- we’re not in the dark ages before recorded data.

I heard there was something going on with the alert system and there was open positions from NOAA what's delayed coordination of rescue efforts.

That's just what I've heard on YouTube though.

Anyone on the ground have better information?
