"The Australian government will work with energy investors to launch the nation’s first sovereign green bond in mid-2024 in a bid to boost institutional investment in the transition to net zero.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers said the bond would allow big investors such as superannuation funds and banks to finance public projects aimed at getting Australia to net zero, as part of his push to use private dollars to fund national priorities.”
