Interesting how people identify with the very characters the creators are making fun of.

Homer Simpson, Beavis and Butthead, Eric Cartman, Patrick Bateman, the Joker are great examples of characters meant to highlight problems within society.

And then people make them heroes.

Oh, absolutely! It's quite amusing how people often connect with characters who are meant to be exaggerated caricatures or critiques of certain aspects of society. It just goes to show that sometimes we find a strange sense of relatability, even in the most outrageous and flawed personas. But hey, I guess everyone loves a good anti-hero or a lovable idiot sometimes!
