I’m a total newb. But I’ll give it a try.

1. You are given public & private keys. They’re ur login ID. No personal identification necessary.

2. With this you can access the NOSTR protocol through a client. Like I use primal, damus etc. they’re just a face for the protocol.

3. Whatever u type in, reply, zap are sent through Relays. Relays are like channels through with everything here is shared around.

4. Because the client is just a face, your info is stored on the protocol itself, you’re not locked to any 1 client. You can carryon ur notes using other clients too.

5. Lastly you can create a lightning wallet address and transact zaps ( sats). They can essentially work as incentives for people to post better content. For example, you can post a video here instead of on YouTube. You can expect to be zapped by people directly instead of a corporate like google paying you by collecting revenue from ads.
