Speaking of race relations, I had an ancestor murdered by the Cherokee in a reprisal raid on the town I grew up outside of in 1760. A reprisal because some other colonists in a different part of the state attacked and murdered some Cherokee. Any chance I could get some casino money in reparations? I think that’s how that works. Right?

Course I’ll have to pass it onto a classmate from high school because one of my other ancestors bought one of her ancestors at an auction in the early 1800s. 😱
