If we are to have government, this is the kind of thing they should be worrying about.
I’m not comfortable with any entity - private companies or government entities - having an ability to undertake biometric scans for any of this shit they want to use it for. Whether checkout gates ala Coles, airport security, Revolut asking for selfies to release funds, or anything else.
The ULEZ blade runners have set the template. We need more destruction of these systems.

That’s why they let the petty crime rampant. You need a problem before deploying a solution. The « solution » would be a lot less acceptable if there weren’t a specific problem to solve. But hey, are you not for more #surveillance if it helps fighting crime? Same logic than for justifying KYC, online age verification and client-side scanning. People need to wake up before their #privacy is totally gone.
People need others they trust that take care of their electronic devices.
Most people don't want this but they either don't have the technical skills to route around third parties or they don't know where and how to start.
If you know what you do take the security of your friends into your hands. After all you and society will benefit from this.
Also don't support businesses and friends that are shitting on their own and others human rights.
Meat them offline if you must or cut ties. They will endanger your safety in the near future.
